Congratulations to Craig's son Christopher Ebel on winning the 2022 New Horizon Award from the United States Polka Association! Chris will accept this honor during the USPA's annual festival and convention Memorial weekend in Independence, Ohio.

The final results of the Annual 247Polkaheaven Awards celebrating the best CDs, songs and entertainers of 2013 were recently announced. The IJs of 247Polkaheaven and polka experts from around the United States nominated every polka, waltz, entertainer and CD released in 2013. The nominees with the majority of votes were then voted on by the audience of 247Polkaheaven. Over 32,000 votes were cast in the week-long vote.

DyVersaCo's latest recording "iHot" was voted Best Contemporary Polka Style CD of 2013! The lead off song "It Sure Is Hot" placed fifth and the original composition "Fluttering Eyes" placed tenth in Category 5 - Best Cleveland Style, Contemporary or Polka Variety Songs of 2013!

Craig's son, Christopher Ebel, started playing drums at the age of 3. He travels with the band and sets in a few tunes on the drums at each performance. He plays concertina, piano, accordion, clarinet and oversees the merchandise display. He also co-hosts the Polish Hour with his dad for Polka Parade over AM 1340 & FM 98.7 WJYI in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Christopher loves polka music, which is seen by his infectious smile when he is on stage.

He has been featured on WCCO TV, the Minneapolis/St. Paul CBS affiliate, where he was labeled the "Amazing 6-Year-Old Polka Drummer" in 2011. This segment was due to a passerby's upload to YouTube where Christopher has snagged over 360,000 views. At the age of 7, he also appeared in a segment entitled, "Land of 10,000 Stories," on KARE 11, the Minneapolis/St. Paul NBC affiliate, where he was given the title, "Polka Phenom."
